To host a training program for South Pacific chief auditors helps increase mutual understanding and friendship and promote the comprehensive development of bilateral relations. China would like to continue to enhance exchanges with South Pacific countries and regions within bilateral and multilateral frameworks.

Mr. Tamaseu Clarence Warren, the rotating president of the South Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions and Chief Auditor of Samoa, on behalf of all the members of the delegation, expressed thanks to China for its thoughtful arrangements and hospitable reception. He said the training program not only enhanced their understanding to the Chinese audit system, but also gave them a chance to see with their own eyes the tremendous achievements China has scored since reform and opening up. They were very impressed and would like to maintain long-term exchanges and cooperation with China in the area of audit.
