On September 3, 2006, Luxembourg's Grand Duke Duc Henri arrived in Beijing, starting a week-long state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

During the visit, President Hu, Premier Wen Jiabao and other Chinese leaders will meet with Grand Duke Henri and the two sides will exchange views on bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common concern.
