The Diaoyu Islands and its adjacent islets have been an integral part of the Chinese territory since ancient times and China has irrefutable sovereignty over them, noted the Chinese official. The normal maritime scientific exploration of related Chinese vessel in the waters adjacent to the Diaoyu Islands is an act exercising China's legitimate sovereign right. China is strongly dissatisfied with Japan's hype of Chinese scientific exploration in the waters adjacent to the Diaoyu Islands.
