On March 25, 2007, Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing held talks in Beijing with visiting Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem.

The two sides exchanged in-depth views on implementing the consensus reached by the leaders of both countries and on expanding bilateral relations and agreed to take positive measures to push forward China-Vietnam good-neighborly friendship. Pham reiterated Vietnam's adherence to the one-China policy, which Li appreciated.

Pham is on an official visit to China at the invitation of Li Zhaoxing.
