Wen Jiabao Meets with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister

On March 26, 2007, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with visiting Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem at the Great Hall of the People.

Wen said China attaches importance to the relations with Vietnam and is committed to enhancing bilateral friendly exchanges and cooperation. He hoped the two countries will earnestly implement the consensus reached by their leaders, build up political trust and deepen economic and trade cooperation, so as to push for all-round, in-depth development of Sino-Vietnamese ties.

Pham said he was pleased about China's achievements in all areas, emphasizing that Vietnam will make joint efforts with China to further the relationship.
