On July 12, 2007, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai met with the director-general for international co-operation and development of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Wu Hailong, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, held consultation with the French side, exchanging views on the reform of the UN, counter-terrorism, human rights and relevant regional hotspot issues.
