On February 27, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi talked over phone with Saeed Jalili, secretary of Iran's Supreme Council of National Security, exchanging views on Iran's nuclear issue.

Jalili said Iran is willing to continue enhancing cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

During their talks, Yang elaborated on China's relevant principled position and stressed that China will keep on playing a constructive role in solving Iran's nuclear issue properly through diplomatic efforts.
