On March 19, 2008, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who is visiting China at the invitation of Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA). The two sides exchanged views on Sino-British relations, as well as the issues of common concern.
