On March 25, 2008, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Jieyi met with a visiting delegation headed by Raymond Chan, member of the Liberal Party of Canada in the Canadian House of Commons. Both sides exchanged views on China-Canada relations and issues of mutual concern.
