On April 23, 2008, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei met with Major-General Jibril Al-Rajoub, member of the Palestine National Liberation Movement (Fatah) Revolutionary Council, who is visiting China at the invitation of Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral friendly ties and the Middle East issue.
