Assistant Foreign Minister Li Hui Attends the Launch Ceremony for the Release of Putin's Collected Works 2002-2008 (the Chinese Version)

On April 28, 2008, Assistant Foreign Minister Li Hui attended and addressed the launch ceremony for the release of Putin's Collected Works 2002-2008 (the Chinese Version) hosted by China Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).

Li firstly extended warm congratulations on the release of Putin's Collected Works and sincere thanks to CASS for their hard work and the Russian side for their strong support and collaboration.

Li said the publishing of Putin's Collected Works in the Chinese language is a significant event for the bilateral relationship and an embodiment of the high level of bilateral ties. The Collected Works opens a window for Chinese readers to appreciate the great Russia, President Putin and the Russian people. The Chinese side has the willingness to work together with the Russian side to unswervingly advance the high-level development of strategic partnership of coordination between China and Russia in a sustainable, healthy and stable manner so as to benefit the people of the two countries.

The launch ceremony was also attended by high-level officials including Mr. Razov Sergey, Russia's Ambassador to China, and Li Shenming, Vice President of CASS.
