More Leaders, Officials of Foreign Countries, International Organizations Mourn China's Quake Victims

More foreign governments and leaders have expressed their sympathies for the victims of the deadly earthquake that hit southwest China's Sichuan province on May 12.

Up to 22:00 Beijing time on May 22, heads of state and government, parliamentary leaders, officials of international organizations and people from all walks of life from 144 countries visited Chinese embassies, consulates or missions to mourn the victims of the earthquake.

In addition, the International Atomic Energy Agency mourned the quake victims with flag at half-mast on May 20 and 21.

All the participants of the ministerial meeting of China-Arab Cooperation Forum mourned the victims before the meeting started on May 21.
