On September 9, 2008, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui met in the Foreign Ministry with visiting Mozambican Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Co-operation Eduardo Koloma. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the long-term smooth development of bilateral ties, agreeing to work together to push bilateral relations to a higher level.

Zhang also introduced China’s views on the international situation, as well as the country’s domestic development.
