Recently, a number of leaders of foreign governments and international organizations called or sent letters congratulating on the big success of the Beijing Olympic Games.

Prime Minister of Latvia Ivars Godmanis indicated that the organization of the Beijing Olympic Games was excellent and the opening and closing ceremonies were marvelous. The success of the Beijing Olympic Games has further enhanced the international influence of China.
