On September 24, 2008, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Wu Hongbo met with Joao Aguiar Machado, Deputy Director General for External Relations of European Commission, who is here for the 23rd Meeting of China-EU Mixed Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation. Both sides exchanged views mainly on the 7th ASEM summit, the 11th China-EU Leaders' meeting and negotiations on the China-EU Partnership Cooperation Agreement (PCA).
