President Hu Jintao Sends Message of Condolences to Pakistani Counterpart Zardari

On July 28, 2010, An Airbus-320 operated by Pakistan's Airblue crashed into the hills overlooking Islamabad, Pakistan, killing all 152 people on board including 146 passengers and six crew members. The plane was on its way from Turkey to the Pakistani capital via Karachi. President Hu Jintao sent a condolence message to his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari over the deadly airplane crash. In his message, Hu, on behalf of the Chinese government and people and in his own name, expressed profound condolences for the victims and sincere regards to the families of those killed in the plane crash. On the same day, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao sent a condolence message to his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani, extending his condolences for the victims and regards to the families of those killed.
