On August 5, 2011, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun at invitation attended the reception marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of China-Turkey diplomatic ties held by the Turkish Embassy in China. Zhai exchanged views with Murat Salim Esenli, Turkish ambassador to China, on China-Turkey relations and other issues.
