On October 14, 2011, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun attended the reception celebrating the 43rd anniversary of independence of Equatorial Guinea held by the Embassy of Equatorial Guinea in China. Zhai also exchanged views with Ambassador Marcos Mba Ondo on China-Equatorial Guinea relations and other issues.
