On October 21, 2011, Tang Jiaxuan, Chief Chinese Member of the 21st Century Committee for China-Japan Friendship met in Zhongnanhai with the delegation of Japanese business community led by Kunio Ishihara, vice chairman of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives. The two sides exchanged opinions on China-Japan relations and economic and trade cooperation.

The Japan Association of Corporate Executives was established in 1946. Together with the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, they are the three major economic organizations in the country.
