Vice President Xi Jinping Wraps up Official Visit to Ireland

On the afternoon of February 20 local time, visiting Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping left Dublin, wrapping up his official visit to Ireland.

During his stay in Ireland, Xi visited Shannon and Dublin respectively. Xi met and held talks with Irish President Michael D. Higgins, Prime Minister Enda Kenny, Speaker Barrett of the House of Representatives and Speaker Burke of the Senate. He also attended the Ireland-China Trade and Investment Forum together with Kenny and engaged broadly with the people from all walks of life.

Ireland is the second leg of Xi's three-nation tour. He will also visit Turkey.
