On April 18, 2012, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with visiting Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Morocco Youssef Amrani.

Yang said that the bilateral friendly relations and cooperation between China and Morocco have shown a fast-growing momentum in recent years. The two sides have engaged in productive cooperation in various fields. China is willing to work together with Morocco to continuously uplift the level of bilateral friendly cooperation. Youssef Amrani said that the Moroccan side is satisfied with the status of the growing bilateral relations and is willing to push for new progress in the bilateral friendly cooperation in various fields.
