On December 11, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun and Brazilian Deputy Foreign Minister Pinto held the second China-Brazil consultation on African affairs in Beijing. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on the situation in Africa, hotspot issues and the two countries’ cooperation with Africa. Both sides agreed that the consultations have achieved positive results and further expanded the two countries’ consensus on African issues. They pledged to maintain this kind of exchanges in the future.
