Ambassador Luo Zhaohui met Dr. B.R. Mani, DG of National Museum of India

Ambassador Luo Zhaohui visited National Museum of India and met with Dr. B.R. Mani, Director General of the museum on 14 February.

Ambassador Luo said China and India share many cultural similarities and there is still huge potential for cultural cooperation in between. Among others, the big joint exhibition "Across the Silk Road: Gupta Sculpture and Chinese Parallel during 400-700 AD " organized by Palace Museum of China in collaboration with National Museum of India played a positive role in promoting the cultural exchange between our two countries. He expressed his hope to have more joint programs and cooperation on cultural relic exhibition, protection and study with the National Museum of India.

Dr. Mani welcomed the visiting of Ambassador and said he would like to further strengthen cultural exchanges and cooperation with China.

Ambassador Luo specially visited the Central Asia gallery with collections of Dunhuang Caves.
