Chinese Embassy in Ireland holds the reception in celebration of the 90th anniversary of PLA

On 1st August 2017, Chinese Embassy in Ireland held the reception in celebration of the 90th anniversary of People's Liberation Army of China, jointly hosted by H.E. Dr. Yue Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland and Major General Su Guanghui, Chinese Military Attaché to the UK and Ireland.

   

Ambassador Yue and General Su commended China's military development and Chine-Ireland military exchanges in their remarks. Both expressed their full confidence in future development of Sino-Irish bilateral military ties and the overall relationship.

   

More than 250 guests attended the reception, including Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, Colonel Michael Murray, representative of Vice Admiral Mr. Mark Mellett, Chief of Staff of the Irish Defence Forces, officials of central and regional governments as well as the representatives of the diplomatic corps and Chinese community.
