On April 13, 2010, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Fu Ying met with Prosecutor General of Macau SAR Ho Chio Meng. Fu said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will, as always, support the SAR to expand exchanges with the outside world and strive to do a good job in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Macau compatriots abroad and promoting Macau's long-term prosperity and stability. Ho Chio Meng extended his gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Office of the Commissioner of the MFA of the P.R.C. in the Macau SAR for their support and help to the work of the Public Prosecutions of Macau SAR, expressing hope that the Public Prosecutions will continue to get support and guidance from the MFA in the field of foreign-related judicial assistance.
