On February 22, 2022, Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu held talks with the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Negotiations on Security Council Reform of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), namely Permanent Representative of Qatar to the UN Ambassador Alya Ahmed Saif Al-Thani and Permanent Representative of Denmark to the UN Ambassador Martin Bille Hermann, via video link. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on the issue of the reform of the Security Council.
