International Development Association was established in 1960 and is a member of the World Bank Group. China regained its seat in 1980 and became its Part 2 member (borrower). China's voting power in the IFC is 219696, or 1.88% of total. Up to the end of July 1999, IDA had provided USD10.2 billion interest-free loans (soft loans) to China. From then on, IDA stopped providing China with interest-free loans.
