In 2013, relations between the People's Republic of China and the Principality of Andorra made steady progress.
The two countries enjoyed solid political trust and sound collaboration and coordination in international and regional affairs. Andorra extended support to Chinese candidacies in a number of international organizations. The government of Andorra sent condolences to the Chinese government and people immediately after the earthquakes on 20 April in Lushan, Sichuan Province and on 22 July in Gansu Province.
The two governments agreed to take the opportunity of the 20th anniversary of diplomatic ties in 2014 to further grow bilateral relations and expand business cooperation and people-to-people exchanges.
