On July 9, 2023, Special Representative for Human Rights of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China Yang Xiaokun and Director of Department of Human Rights of Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs Turki Abdulla Al-Mahmoud held a consultation on human rights in Doha, Qatar. They had an exchange of views on respective human rights concepts, the progress of the human rights cause, and multilateral human rights work, among others.
