China Holds Consultations on UNSC Affairs with New Zealand and Malaysia

On January 13, 2015, Director-General of the Department of International Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Li Junhua co-chaired the China-New Zealand consultation on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) affairs with Special Envoy of Prime Minister for the UN Affairs Colin Keating of New Zealand in Wellington, capital of New Zealand. Li Junhua also met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade John Allen of New Zealand.

On January 15, Li Junhua co-chaired the China-Malaysia consultation on UNSC affairs with Deputy Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry Ho May Yong of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia.

China and New Zealand as well as China and Malaysia respectively exchanged their views on UNSC cooperation, international and regional hotspot issues, UNSC reform, the 70th anniversary of the founding of the UN and other topics.
