Chinese President Hu Jintao Appoints Seven New Ambassadors

On December 21, 2010, Chinese President Hu Jintao announced the appointment of the following new ambassadors in accordance with a decision made by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Zhang Junsai was appointed ambassador to Canada, replacing Lan Lijun.

Wang Yingwu was appointed ambassador to Democratic Republic of Congo, replacing Wu Zexian.

Huo Zhengde was appointed ambassador to Tunisia, replacing Li Beifen.

Wang Shixiong was appointed ambassador to Equatorial Guinea, replacing Yan Xiaomin.

Chen Gonglai was appointed ambassador to Mauritania, replacing Zhang Xun.

Kuang Weilin was appointed ambassador to Sierra Leone, replacing Qiu Shaofang.

Zhi Zhaolin was appointed ambassador to Montenegro, replacing Li Manchang.
