Note on Vat Refund Application Form for Diplomatic

The Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People?s Republic of China presents its compliments to the Diplomatic Missions and Offices of International Organisations in China and has the honour to enclose herewith samples of the VAT Refund Application Form for Diplomatic (Consular) Missions in China, the Consolidated Breakdown of VAT Refund Claims of Diplomatic (Consular) Missions in China, the Itemised VAT Refund Claims of Diplomatic (Consular) Missions in China and the instructions on how to fill out these forms. The forms can be downloaded from the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at www.fmprc.gov.cn.

The Diplomatic Missions and Offices of International Organisations are requested to apply for VAT refund in accordance with the Measures for the Administration of Refund of Chinese Value-added Tax on Goods and Services Purchased by Foreign Diplomatic (Consular) Missions in China and Their Staff enclosed with Note (2003) Li Zi No. 57 and the requirements of this Note as from July 2003 when they submit their 2003 second quarter VAT refund claims.

The Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Diplomatic Missions and Offices of International Organisations the assurances of its highest consideration.
