President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC):

I. Yue Xiaoyong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Ireland, replacing Xu Jianguo.

II. Wei Jinghua was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Azerbaijan, replacing Hong Jiuyin.

III. Jiang Jiang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Malta, replacing Cai Jinbiao.
