“The Academic Seminar in Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Chairman Mao’s Instructions on African Studies”& “The Launching Ceremony of African Research Forum of the Chinese Society for African Studies” is successfully held in Beijing Twenty-First Century Hotel on 27th April 2011. This seminar was sponsored by Chinese Society for African Studies and Institute of West-Asian and African Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; And organizes by Africa Invest Alliance and Africa-Invest.Net. The seminar also introduced “the First trade and investment forum” which would be held in Hangzhou Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hotel on May 17th. Moreover, the Dragon TV and Africa Invest Alliance contract signing ceremony was held on the Seminar. About 140 state Ministry representatives, African affairs scholars and African Ambassadors to China attended this seminar! Mr. Wei Jianguo, the minister of the Chinese Society for African Studies also participated and delivered a speech! Nearly 20 media attended the conference! Thanks to all the participants’ supporting, the seminar has got a big success.
