Pictures Exhibition on China-Africa Cooperation Launched

On March 1, 2005, H. E. Mr. Cheng Wenju, Chinese Ambassador to the Republic of Sierra Leone and Hon. Dr. Bobson Sesay, Minister of Lands of Sierra Leone and the Chairman of Sierra Leone-China Friendship Society (SLCFS) cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony of the Pictures Exhibition on Sino-Africa Cooperation co-organized by the Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone and the SLCFS. About 100 visitors from all walks of life attended the ceremony. Among them are Mr. Karim Sesay, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Marting Banya, Deputy Minister of Education, executive members of the SLCFS and representatives of Chinese companies in Sierra Leone. Dr. Bonbson Sesay, in his ardent speech, sang high praise for the friendship and cooperation between China and Africa. Ambassador Cheng Wenju briefed the guests on the achievements of China's development and the recent advancement of Sino-Africa cooperation. Ambassador Cheng stressed that this Exhibition would help promote the Sierra Leonean people's understanding of China and Sino-Africa cooperation. This Exhibition is scheduled to last until 4, March,2005
