BEIJING, March 2 (Xinhua) -- A senior official from the Communist Party of China (CPC) discipline watchdog on Friday vowed to further exchange with Mali's Union for the Republic and Democracy (URD) so to boost bilateral ties.

He Yong, deputy secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, made the pledge during a meeting in Beijing with Soumaila Cisse, leader of the URD.

He, also a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, hailed China's relationship with the West African country.

Cisse, heading a URD delegation, spoke highly of the relationship with China and pledged to further political cooperation with the CPC.
