Chinese special envoy leaves for Nigerian presidential inauguration

Chinese President Hu Jintao's special envoy Xu Jialu left Beijing on Saturday to attend the inauguration ceremony for Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua on May 29.
Xu is vice chairman of the Standing Committee of National People's Congress, China's top legislature.
Yar'Adua, 56, from the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP), won Nigerian presidential election on April 23.
