On May 13, 2024, Ambassador Cui Aimin delivered a speech at the University of Malmö at the invitation of UPF Malmö and exchanged views with the teachers and students.

Ambassador Cui elaborated on the great significance of President Xi Jinping’s visit to the three European countries, explained China's independent foreign policy of peace from the dimensions of culture, history and foreign policy, stressing that China's development and rise is an increment of the force for world peace, China's promotion of high-quality development and international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative will bring new opportunities to the world, and China-Europe and China-Sweden friendly cooperation has broad prospects and a promising future. Ambassador Cui also answered questions on building a global community of shared future and media reports on China. He hopes that the students would follow China's development, get a comprehensive understanding of China, and make contributions to carrying forward friendship and deepening exchanges and cooperation. The atmosphere was lively with questions actively raised.

The students said that the speech enhanced their knowledge of China and aroused their enthusiasm to understand China, hoping to have a chance to visit some places in China.
