Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong Presents the Working Copy of His Letter of Credence

On May 14, 2024, the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to India H.E. Mr. Xu Feihong presented the working copy of his Letter of Credence to Mr. Rohit Rathish, acting Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of External Affairs of India.

Ambassador Xu emphasized that it is a great honor to be appointed by H.E. President Xi Jinping as Chinese Ambassador to India, which is an honorable mission with heavy responsibility. He thanked the Indian side for facilitating his assumption of the new office and pointed out that both China and India are committed to national development and rejuvenation at present. A sound and stable China-India relationship serves the common interests of both sides and is conducive to peace and development of the region and the world. He is ready to work with Indian friends to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, enhance mutual understanding and trust, deepen friendship between the two peoples, promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and push forward China-India relations on the track of sound and stable development.

The Indian side welcomed Ambassador Xu Feihong on assuming his new post and said that the Protocol Division of MEA is willing to provide convenience and assistance to the Ambassador and the Embassy in their work.
