Li Yuanchao Meets with Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken of the US

On February 11, 2015, Vice President Li Yuanchao met with Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken of the US in Beijing.

Li Yuanchao said that currently the China-US relations maintain a momentum of sound development. We hope that both sides can strengthen strategic communication, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and properly handle differences, so as to ensure the complete success of President Xi Jinping’s state visit to the US this year and give a boost to the continuous development of the China-US relations. We hope that China and the US will promote the successful organization of relevant commemorative activities concerning the 70th anniversary of the victory of the world anti-fascist war and the founding of the United Nations.

Blinken said that the US is ready to strengthen dialogue and expand cooperation with China to ensure that President Xi Jinping's visit to the US will achieve positive results, so as to push forward the US-China relations for new progress.
