On August 16, 2024, Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry Hong Lei accepted respectively the copies of credentials presented by newly-appointed Ambassador of Latvia to China Karlis Eihenbaums, and newly-appointed Ambassador of Denmark to China Michael Starbaek Christensen, who arrived in China on August 9 and August 14 respectively.
