Chinese Consul General in Brisbane Ruan Zongze Meets with the Leader of the Federal National Party Hon David Littleproud

On July 13, 2023, Dr Ruan Zongze, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Brisbane met with Hon David Littleproud, leader of the Federal National Party and shadow minister for agriculture. They exchanged views on China-Australia and China-Queensland friendly cooperation. Deputy Consul-General Ms Li Suyun of the Chinese Consulate-General, and SAS Group Chairman Larry Anthony were present.

Dr Ruan said, China-Australia relationship is stabilizing and improving at present. Bilateral dialogues and exchanges such as economy, trade, people to people and cultural exchanges are gradually increasing at all levels in various fields. China upholds the concept of openness and inclusiveness, and is willing to share the development dividends with the rest of the world. The Chinese Consulate-General will continue to support both sides in strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, Olympics and culture.

Hon Littleproud said, the improvement of Australia-China relationship is conducive to deepening economic, trade and investment exchanges between our two countries, especially promoting the trade of agricultural products. The Federal National Party supports the improvement and development of relationship with China.
