On February 23, 2023, Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li attended upon invitation the reception marking the 73rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy in China. He exchanged views with Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai on bilateral relations and other topics.
