President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. He Xiangdong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of South Sudan, replacing Ma Qiang.

II. Zhou Pingjian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, replacing Gu Xiaojie.

III. Luo Zhaohui was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of India, replacing Le Yucheng.

IV. Xiong Bo was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia, replacing Bu Jianguo (female).

V. Sun Weidong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Turkmenistan, replacing Xiao Qinghua.

VI. Xiao Qinghua was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic, replacing Qi Dayu.

VII. Li Xiaosi was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Austria, replacing Zhao Bin.
