On November 22, 2024, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin met with Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov. The two sides had an exchange of views on China-Russia relations, high-level exchanges and practical cooperation.

Liu Bin said, under the strong leadership and personal promotion of the two heads of state, the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for the new era has maintained sound and steady development. This year, the two sides celebrated the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, successfully completed various agendas of bilateral relations and achieved positive results. China is ready to maintain close communication with Russia to ensure that head-of-state diplomacy between the two countries continues to deepen strategic coordination, expand practical cooperation in various fields and push for new achievements in bilateral relations.
