On 3 May 2025, Her Excellency Yan Jiarong, Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas and the embassy staff attended the “Family Day” event by Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF). Ambassador Yan had cordial conversations with the Hon. Wayne Munroe, Minister of National Security of The Bahamas, Commodore Raymond King, Commander of RBDF and Captain Floyd Moxey, Commander-designate of RBDF.

Ambassador Yan and the embassy staff also toured the base facilities and learned about the history, development, and key responsibilities of RBDF.
