President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Yu Hong (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam, replacing Yang Jian (female).

II. Deng Li was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Turkey, replacing Yu Hongyang.

III. Ma Xinmin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Sudan, replacing Li Lianhe.

IV. Zhou Ding was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Albania, replacing Jiang Yu (female).

V. Ji Ping was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina, replacing Chen Bo (female).

VI. Chen Bo (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Serbia, replacing Li Manchang.

VII. Li Song was appointed Deputy Permanent Representative of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other International Organizations in Switzerland, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary for Disarmament Affairs, replacing Fu Cong.
