On March 18, 2016, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming met with Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) of Iraq Falah Mustafa Bakir and his delegation, who came to visit China at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs. The two sides exchanged views on China-Iraq relations, China's exchanges with the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and other issues of common interest.
