On April 7, 2017, Premier Li Keqiang and Prime Minister Hani Mulki of Jordan exchanged congratulatory messages a few days ago, congratulating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations.

Li Keqiang noted in his congratulatory message that since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations 40 years ago, China and Jordan have enjoyed friendly cooperative relations, continuously witnessed high level exchanges, increasingly deepened political mutual trust has been, achieved substantial outcomes in practical cooperation and maintained sound communication on major international and regional issues. In recent years, the two countries have established strategic partnership, and expanded the breadth and depth of cooperation in various fields. In the next stage, China is willing to make joint efforts with Jordan to constantly enhance bilateral traditional friendship and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, so as to benefit the two countries and the two peoples.

Hani Mulki expressed in his congratulatory message that Jordan and China have always shared numerous consensus on international issues. Both countries are committed to realizing and maintaining peace and security desperately needed in the Middle East.
