On February 28, 2018, Assistant Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong attended at invitation the reception celebrating the National Day of Kuwait held by the Kuwaiti Embassy in China, and exchanged views with Kuwaiti Ambassador to China Sameeh Essa Johar Hayat on China-Kuwait relations and topics of common interest.
